Transportation to Venice
Description
Venice (Italian: Venezia; Venetian: Venexia) is one of the most interesting and lovely places in the world. This sanctuary on a lagoon is virtually the same as it was six hundred years ago, which adds to the fascinating character. Venice has decayed since its heyday and is heavily touristed (there are slightly more tourists than residents), but the romantic charm remains. It is also known as the birthplace of the composer Antonio Vivaldi. Venice and its lagoon are a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Venice Travel Tips & Reviews
There are quite a lot parking places in Venice, but all very expensive. Near parking there is a Vaporetto water boat bus station, it's best to get one way ticket to Piazza San Marco, and than you walk through the city back to parking. It's nice if you go through small streets that are not to crowded, but you can see beautiful buildings anyway. You can go on St. Mark’s Campanile, bell tower, elevator is 8€/person, it’s very crowded up there, but the view is really nice.
Read about Venice on my blog →Venice is such a magical city! The streets are winding and a bit like a maze so make sure you are prepared with a good sense of direction and a smart phone. If you're there when it rains be sure to experience St Mark's Square. It floods and is quite and experience! And lastly, get a cone of pistachio gelato, just trust me :)
